Exploring Some Feelings Related To Being A Stroke Survivor

Now when you start talking about frustration, There is a feeling that will go along with this. I’m not sure how to put into words just how the feeling is but I guess the feeling is what I would call a cross between loneliness and feeling guilty. These are common feelings amongst the stroke survivor community. The next feeling that survivors have or at least survivors with long term disability have would be the feeling that no one wants to listen to what you want to say. To this day I often feel as though my thoughts are pushed to the back of the crowd. I find that a survivor has to be bold and out spoken enough to get your point across. I know that this post sounds gloomy and down, But With recovery to be successful you have to understand the feelings that go along with stroke. This will better help your recovery. Lets face it a good recovery outcome is what we are all heading for in the long term right?
